Retention and Release Policy for Permanent Student Records
Financial Knowledge bears full responsibility for the maintenance and availability of all permanent records. Financial Knowledge maintains permanent student records for each student that registers for Financial Knowledge approved learning events. Permanent student records are maintained for a minimum of seven years from the date of each scheduled learning event.
An official permanent student record consists of a cumulative file of all learning event registration and completion information. This information is accessible only to that particular student at their request, or to an authorized individual at the student's employer (if applicable).
Students can login to Financial Knowledge's website to retrieve and print a copy of their official Financial Knowledge permanent record. The record contains the following information:
- Name
- Student ID (a numerical ID used for identification purposes is randomly assigned by the system)
- Company (if applicable)
- Address (employer or personal)
- Telephone number
- Current Registrations Received (date, time, location, and topic)
- Indicates whether satisfactory completion requirements have been met for class attendance and passing the online assessment test
- Total contact hours received
- Total CEU awarded (calculated by dividing the total contact hours received by 10)
