About Financial Knowledge

Financial Knowledge does not sell any financial products or personal financial advisory services. In addition, Financial Knowledge does not request or collect any personal financial information from visitors to our site. Financial Knowledge's mission is to provide conflict-free financial education courses to students based on identified needs, and which satisfy all IACET criteria to award the IACET CEU. Students are required to enroll in Financial Knowledge classes through Financial Knowledge's Web-based registration system to comply with IACET CEU requirements.

Personal Information Requested

When registering for classes using the Financial Knowledge registration system, some personal information is required: name, email address (used strictly for identification purposes), title, company, address (employer or personal) and telephone number. A permanent student record is created from this and additional information including current course registrations, the status of satisfactory completion requirements for classes attended, total contact hours received and the total IACET Continuing Education Units (CEU) awarded. A private password is selected by the student and is required to login. The student has the ability to register for or delete upcoming class registrations and view and print a copy of their permanent student record. Individual student records are accessible only to that particular student, or to an authorized individual at the student's employer (if applicable).

Use of Your Information

Your personal information is used only within Financial Knowledge for maintaining a permanent student record showing the classes you registered for and attended, course assessment tests that were successfully completed, the number of IACET Continuing Education Units awarded (based upon the total contact hours you received). Periodically, Financial Knowledge sends out emails about upcoming classes. If you no longer wish to receive emails about future Financial Knowledge classes, simply uncheck the notifications preference box in your student profile located in the My Account area.
