About Us > Course Assessment
At Financial Knowledge, assessment is an integral part of every course conducted. Financial Knowledge assessments, performed both during and after each course, actively involve the students and provide them with a basis for evaluating their knowledge and skills.
The main method for learning assessment during Financial Knowledge courses is through the use of interactive exercises interwoven throughout each course. This keeps students actively involved, reinforces learning, helps to monitor student progress, and provides immediate feedback to the students.
In addition, all Financial Knowledge courses have a corresponding online assessment test that can be taken after a student attends a respective class. Each online assessment test is comprised of twenty questions that evaluate comprehension and allow the student to further analyze and apply information taught in the course. This online assessment test provides additional CEU credits if satisfactory completion in the form of a passing score (80% or better) is received.
Instructors continually observe and monitor the students' interpretation, reasoning, and responses to the interactive course exercises. Moreover, Financial Knowledge staff analyze the online assessment test to evaluate the effectiveness of the learning event as a whole. To supplement the evaluation process, end-of-course evaluation forms provide a place to capture specific comments and feedback from students to allow Financial Knowledge to continually improve course offerings. Evaluation and analysis results are then incorporated as necessary into course curriculum.
